Overview
A Manufacturer providing bespoke and innovative solutions to some of the biggest engineering firms across the world are currently seeking a Design Engineer to join their team. This is a truly unique opportunity to have your Designs impact manufacturing across the world. The role will involve: Conceptual design of manufacturing processes, special purpose machines and tooling. Continuous development of tooling and techniques used for production processes. Generation of detailed manufacturing drawings for in-house and sub-contract suppliers. Commissioning of new and developed tooling into the production environment. 3D CAD designs Source technical data and identify potential suppliers for materials, parts and components. The suitable candidate would ideally have: Experience with Mechanical Design - Ideally Inventor Knowledge of Machinery and design standards Previous working history of Development in another manufacturing company.
