Trainee Events Coordinator A well established and growing Events Company are offering a career opportunity for an individual to work within the Events team. Permanent, Full time - based in Dorking Salary per Annum - £16,500 - £18,000 Duties include: Take telephone enquiries Liaising with other members of the events, clients, and suppliers Respond to all email enquiries within 24 hours Send out proposals and estimates to prospective and existing clients Manage the diary efficiently by following up enquiries and chasing provisional bookings Update Events orders Prepare and distribute weekly function sheets and amendments Process and confirm deposit payments Process payment of invoices and ensure invoices are paid Attend marketing events, tradeshows and showcases with Assistant Events Manager when required Contribute to team meetings Excellent time management, planning and organisation skills Exceptional customer service skills and telephone etiquette Excellent communications skills with very good spoken and written English Plus, other Event Co-coordinator related duties Ability to work under pressure and multitask Working knowledge of MS Office Positive attitude Skills required: Maths and English GCSE passes or equivalent (grades A-C) Excellent communication skills Company Benefits 25 days’ holiday, increasing with years of service Annual company bonus scheme Pension scheme Should your application be successful, you will be contacted shortly.
