Interim Financial Controller
Overview
Agora Talent is partnering with a luxury skincare Brand in London who are looking for an immediately available Interim Financial Controller to start on Monday (2/3/2020). This is an exciting opportunity for a Qualified Finance Professional with a strong technical background to take ownership of the budgeting & forecasting, cashflow and internal controls for a growing brand. As a key member of the team, you will work closely with the CFO and on the 3 year strategy of the business and providing business insights and improving the organization's financial performance and direct our accounting operations. Key responsibilities: Supervising 3 direct reports Preparing financial reports for all companies in the group (UK entity, US entity, UK sister company). Monitoring and improving internal controls Analysing financial data. Business Partnering with the Operations and Merchandising teams Stock and Margin analysis Participating in the budgeting and forecasting Streamlining accounting functions and operations Providing business insights to support financial growth Partaking in year end Training and managing finance staff About you: Qualified accountant with experience in a management accounting / FP&A roles Demonstrable history of improving processes. Prior experience in retail business is an advantage Experience with multi-currency/country would also be beneficial Attention to detail with a good sense of commerciality and an analytical mind Excel skills are a requisite Experience using Power BI an advantage Strong organisation and communication skills Ability to communicate financial information to a non-financial audience Benefits: Immediate Start Option to be Interim or FTC Inside IR35 This is a great opportunity for a qualified accountant with a technical background who has moved into Management Accounting/ FP&A roles.
