Overview
Our client, a central London based not for profit are looking for an interim Finance Manager to support the head of finance on a 12 month contract (starting in April). You will manage the day to day finances including managing a team of 4, monthly management accounts, budget/forecasts, statutory accounts and assisting with the annual audit. Key responsibilities: Management of the finance team of 4, including regular reviews on performance and accuracy of work Oversee the monthly management accounts (prepared by the finance team) Variance analysis of the month management accounts Annual statutory accounts preparation in line with SORP requirements Managing the annual audit, liaising with external auditors Annual budgeting with quarterly reforecasts Management of Cashflow for the business, maximising income Assist with implementation of new systems/process/procedures Key requirements; Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) Experience managing a team is essential Experience in a similar role (strong management accounting, budgeting, forecasting experience) Previous charity/not for profit experience (FRS102 & SORP knowledge) is desirable but is not essential Dynamics Business Central experience is desirable but not essential Good communicator, able to manage/develop and motivate the finance team and improve overall performance They are offering; £45,000 - £53,000 depending on experience 25 days holiday plus bank holidays off Flexible working; 8am to 4pm, 9am to 5pm or 10am to 6pm Office closed between Christmas and New Year 4pm finish on a Friday Matched 4% pension Life assurance Interest free season ticket loan Perk box Life assurance Interest-free season ticket loan Perkbox They are looking to interview the week commencing 16th March and are looking for someone to start early April.
