NEW POSITION FOR A MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT WITH PROJECT ACCOUNTING SKILLS BASED IN CITY OF LONDON DO YOU HAVE 3 YEARS EXPERIENCE IN A SIMILAR POSITION AND NOW LOOKING FOR THE NEXT STEP? DO YOU ENJOY THE REPORTING SIDE OF FINANCE? My client is in Technology Industry (a fantastic company, I promise) and they are looking for an intelligent, well rounded Management Accountant with project accounting skills to join their team. This is the perfect role for someone who wants to add value into a team and enjoys financial reporting. WHAT WILL THE ROLE INCLUDE? Working for two entities (UK and USA). Preparing the management accounts for both entities, including balance sheet reconciliation, cash flow, forecasting and budget, accruals and prepayments. Creating targets on how to hit greater revenue. Dealing with all accounts for over 100 projects at one time (attention to detail is key) Business partnering - being able to deal with other teams. Posting journals and handing the PL’s. Assisting with the auditors when needed. Working closely alongside the Group Financial Controller to meet deadlines. WHAT ARE THEY LOOKING FOR? Part Qualified ACCA/CIMA Project accounting experience Confident, bubbly and personable Great attention to detail - must be able to spot those mistakes EXCEL: VLOOK UPS and PivoT Tables (these are a must) Ideal start date as soon as possible BUT for the right candidate they will be prepared to wait whilst the candidates complete their notice.
