Overview
This is an exciting opportunity to join an award-winning, growing Property Developer based in The City as a Planning Coordinator, working closely with the Senior Development Manager and Project Managers to co-ordinate and maintain their programmes. You will support and work closely with the Senior Development Manager through the pre-planning application and approval process to obtain planning permissions on new Developments, followed by assisting with co-ordination of pre-commencement site operations prior to handover to the construction delivery team. Through the construction period you will assist in the preparation, collation and management of planning submittals and co-ordination of the Planning Condition Discharge Trackers, taking and maintaining minutes at the CPL Management Team Meeting and preparation and collation of project Handover Documentation in association with the Document Controller. Predominantly based at the company's main site in the City, you will also attend regular site visits to live sites in order to update progress against their development programmes. Ideally you will have at least 5 years' experience within the construction industry, gained with either a Main Contractor or Developer and be proficient with Asta Power Projects Planning Software. Experience on large scale multi-storey residential developments would be beneficial, along with site management experience of concrete frames. Previous Programming experience is essential to be considered in this role. This will suit someone who is looking to develop their programming and planning experience with a Major Developer, working on large scale residential schemes from site acquisition, through the planning approval process and then onto site through to project completion. You'll need to be a self-motivated individual who is a problem solver, detail orientated, eager to learn and can adapt to new working environments with ease.
