Job Title: Senior Environmental Advisor also interested in Environmental ManagersLocation: Central LondonSalary/Benefits: £45,000 - £55,000 plus car allowance and packageStart Date:ASAPCompany Information: Working on a Large Major Civil Engineering project for a Tier 1 Rail, Civils and Power Contractor worth £1.9bnTo be suitable for the position you must have;-4-5 years experience in an Environmental Advisory position-A proven track record of working on large civils schemes, either within rail infrastructure., heavy civils, tunneling, earthworks, highways etc.-Solid understanding of the requirements of the ISO 14001 standard-Membership to IEMA (MIEMA / FIEMA Desired)Although not essential it would also be advantageous if you have;-NEBOSH Environmental-NEBOSH General-Environmental Degree or similar.Role Information;-Develop and implement environmental strategies and action plans-Lead the implementation of environmental policies and practices-Carry out impact assessments to identify and reduce an organisation's environmental risks and costs-Promote and raise awareness of the impact of emerging environmental issues-Develop and implement environmental management system, ISO 14001-Write environmental reports, assuming the lead responsibility with the company-Set organisational sustainability targets, and develop plans to meet targets and oversee their deliveryNavartis Ltd is a specialist recruitment company supplying highly skilled technical and management professionals within the global Transportation, Civil Engineering & Utility industries, if you are seeking a new position our recruitment team can locate the opportunity to suit your needs.
