Overview
A well-established European Investment Bank would like to hire a Senior Business Analyst / Project Manager for the London HQ based in Liverpool Street. The role is paying between £85000 – £95000 with great benefits as well as potential bonus. Summary The “Refinancing and Execution” team within Finance IT is responsible for a suite of applications and services supporting the refinancing processes of the Group’s entities: global financial advances to regions, loans and financings, guarantees given and received by the Bank. The London branch operations are managed through the Banks software Calypso. Those operations are fully integrated within the accountability and regulatory tools of the Banks S.A. You will be an experienced business analyst with a proven track record in Finance Business & Capital Markets, who is an energetic self driven individual, adaptable as the context determines, to take instruction and work autonomously; or to work collaboratively as part of a small team. Key Responsibilities • Ensure the activities and local projects are followed and managed adequately within the governance structure • Define and propose the annual roadmap (technical and functional) for the portfolio of software managed for the London Branch • Write specifications/stories for systems and processes as required for specific projects or the continued evolution of components • Develop and maintain good working relations with the various internal and external stakeholders (eg. business, service providers,…) • Assist the business to express and formulate their needs • Work with stakeholders to prioritise and keep them updated of progress and share risks and issues • Produce clear and structured documentation (projects and systems) accordingly with the standard of the bank and the associated function • Conduct and assist the business in the operational and functional acceptance / homologation of the deliveries • Ensure projects are implemented against specified time, budgetary and quality targets • Ensure the project are implemented against the specified norms and standards predefined (security, performance, maintainability). Skills & Experience Required. 1. Comprehensive exposure to the system Calypso 2. 5 Years’ experience as a Business Analyst in the Financial Markets 3. Some experience and talent for Project Management 4. Comprehensive knowledge of the processes specific to the Capital Markets environment 5. Comprehensive knowledge of financial products 6. Participation in IT projects including business analysis and project or work package management 1. Interpersonal competency a. interaction with and contact point between end users of IT systems, and IT developers to facilitate e.g. the gathering of business requirements, b. making presentations • Fluency in English & French
