Then apply now Artis are working exclusively on a one time Senior role within mechanical and buildings services for a Senior Mechanical Project / Contracts Manager. An opportunity to join a leading company who specialise in design development,installation and commissioning of mechanical and electrical buildings services. As Senior Mechanical Contracts Manager, you will report to the Mechanical Contracts Director and Managing Director; efficiently and effectively delivering mechanical and buildings services. Role High levels of knowledge around all aspects of commercial industrial building services engineering. Excellent communicator, with all stakeholders involved within the construction process. Strong commercial and financial skills with a responsibility for financial cost controls and maximising financial opportunities that generate profits. Ability to develop programmes of work and communicate, monitor and adopt as required to meet contractual deadlines. Able to interrogate designs thoroughly to ensure compliance with our contractual obligations and able to bring innovation to maximum effect. Leading the health, safety and wellbeing of all persons affected by the projects, actions and processes. Strong influential leadership skills to develop a high performing project team, including management of direct operatives, specialists and sub-contractors. Ability to keep accurate records to underpin decision making and deviations from contractual scope. A good understanding of BIM and collaborative working. Must be an active team member bringing fresh thinking and ideas to the department and company. Develop cost schedules buying analysis and procurement schedules with a responsibility for project purchasing. Management of all contractual and company quality assurance and environmental systems procedures and documents. Liaise with other company departments to ensure the company's risks are mitigated, including risk management. Post tender reviews and pre-let meetings etc. What you will need to succeed HNC Building Services Engineering Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role Highly organised and motivated Analytical with close attention to detail Excellent level of ICT skills Team player with the ability to process key information within a fast paced environment Excellent time management Good communication and negotiation skills IOSH Managing Safely or equivalent (SMSTS) A recognised qualification in Health and Safety If this sounds like your next career step and the opportunity to work for a leading company appeals to your career aspirations, please apply today.
