Job Description A rapidly growing hotel tech company based in London is looking for a Senior Data Scientist to build on the machine learning capabilities of the business and work in line with its fast expansion. The role will work closely with the Product and Engineering teams to manage data strategy, road-maps of products and identify new opportunities, and grow the Data Science team. Role & Responsibilities Responsible for building machine learning algorithms and building up the data science practise as the Data Science team expands in the upcoming months Collaborating with the Product and Engineering teams to manage work-flow in line with time-lines of projects An influential role in shaping their tech-leading team as the company grows rapidly, to recruit further Data Scientists in the team Innovate and implement data strategies to manage their platform of hotel availability which will impact travellers worldwide Skills & Qualifications Masters or PhD in a numerate field such as Computer Science, Machine Learning, Statistics etc Extensive experience in machine learning, such as framing business problems, building data sets, selecting features in engineering and building optimised algorithms Solid knowledge of Python programming and its commercial application Previous exposure to working in a fast-paced environment with excellent time-management skills Good communication skills in explaining complex analysis to a non-technical audience
