Overview
A well-established and progressive 5-partner accountancy practice based in North London is looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join their team. With over 20 years of experience the accountancy practice has developed long term relationships with their portfolio of over 1500 International and UK clients including sole traders, partnerships, limited companies, trustees, charities and groups. Clients come from real estates, retail, technology, hospitality and entertainment sectors with turnovers of up to £80m. Many of the clients have subsidiaries in the UK and are also owner managed businesses. This role will become a managerial role, where you will be supervising and training junior members of the team together with sustaining and building continuous relationships with clients. Main duties of the role as a Senior Accountant: Preparation of Statutory Accounts regarding (FRS 102 and FRS105) Managing a diverse portfolio of clients and working closely with the Partners Working on more complexed accounts and group accounts Preparation of Management Accounts for your portfolio of clients Mentoring, training and supervising junior members of the team Preparing and reviewing Corporation and Personal Tax returns Requirements of the role as a Senior Accountant: ACA/ACCA Qualified Minimum 3 years of accountancy practice experience Leadership and managerial skills Previous experience in preparation of Statutory Accounts and working on Group accounts Benefits of the role as a Senior Accountant: £42,000 - £50,000 per annum Individual career plan 23 days of holidays plus Bank Holidays Pension contribution up to 6% Team building events like Escape rooms, Summer barbeque and Christmas Party Senior Accountant £42,000 - £50,000 per annum Barnet, North London
