Job Description As Senior Radiographer you will provide a customer focused high quality diagnostic Radiography service to our patients and service users; undertaking and performing all general/CT procedures. This is a permanent full time role working 37.5hrs per week (Covering shifts between 8 am until 8 pm) The salary being offered is competitive and will be dependent upon skills and experience. This is equivalent to a Band 5/6 NHS position. Duties & Responsibilities Undertake and perform all departmental radiographic examinations with a high level of radiographic skill Assist the Consultant Radiologists in the performance of their examinations, being amenable always to a broad spectrum of imaging requests Routinely perform all imaging processing, utilise and understand the PACS system by performing basic PACS tasks e.g. loading images onto PACS from discs or via the image exchange portal Perform all types of routine mobile radiographic examinations Undertake all administrative duties required to maintain the smooth running of the service under the guidance of the Superintendent/Deputy Work flexible shifts to include participation in the CT on-call service Accept and perform non-radiographic duties that are intrinsic to the day to day running of the department, e.g. Make appointments, answer the telephone and perform office duties Carry out any duties which may be considered necessary and consistent with the responsibilities of the post Skills & Experience Degree in Diagnostic Radiography (or Equivalent) HCPC registration At least 2-3 years post qualification experience, especially in Fluoroscopy and Theatre II. Substantial CT Experience with commitment to CT on-call shifts IV cannulations qualification desirable.
