Overview
Interim Year End Accountant, London, £200-300 per day. A large not for profit organisation is currently seeking a Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) to aid their year-end process based out of offices in North London. Reporting to the Financial Controller you will provide effective and efficient financial and management accounting to the group, allowing you to use your technical and project management ability as well as enhance your skills. You must be qualified accountant or public sector audit manager with at least 1-2 years post experience and extensive SORP/IFRS knowledge. You should also be available to start immediately. Day to day duties as Year End Accountant will include: Delivering high class and timely reporting service Managing relationships with external auditors Producing financial statements and preparing briefing papers Adhoc Project work You must have the following to apply: A formal accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) SORP/FRS102 background SUN database knowledge and advanced Excel skills Self-sufficient, pro-active and organised with a commercial focus Due to the high volume of applications we receive, only shortlisted applicants will be contacted in relation to this vacancy.
