We have an exciting opportunity for a Logistics Planning Assistant to join our Logistics team. Reporting into the Logistics Planning and Development Manager, the main purpose of this role is to support with the day to day duties of the Logistics team being the main point of contact for the Merchandising Teams and the Distribution Centre. What you’ll be doing: Producing weekly actuals Updating the Logistics Planning analysis reports Collating information for the Trading pack Daily order pool reporting Producing short team distribution plans and assisting with producing full year budgets Communicating variances to plan and challenge where necessary Weekly conference calls with the distribution centres and merchandising team Be the point of contact for new stores and Franchices (i.e. local, Next, Post Office). What we are looking for: Strong PC skills including Microsoft Excel Ability to communicate cross functionally and at multiple levels Ideally from a Logistics, Merchandising or Retail background SQL experience (running rather than writing new queries) Good attention to detail Why join us?
