Overview
Clark James Insurance Recruitment are working with independent central London based underwriting agent who provide cover in various areas of insurance. The company are looking to take on an Account handler to assist with their various portfolios so they do specifically need someone from a recent Insurance background . This is a key support role within the team dealing with new business enquiries either from the website or over the phone and broking these to a panel of insurers. Once quotes are received sorting out the best ones and presenting them to the client. Securing renewals from Underwriters and re-marketing if necessary before putting up to the client. The business is both retail and wholesale. The role would be ideally suited to someone with previous experience on the Open GI system , although this is not essential. Previous Insurance experience is however essential, as is previous customer facing experience.
