Overview
My client is the specialist Construction arm of a multi-billion group, employing over 60,000 people worldwide. A fantastic opportunity has opened up for an experienced HSE Training Manager to join the team, and lead the training function across the UK Construction business. This is a national role, so base location isn't important for the HSE Training Manager position. You will have access to your local regional office, whilst being willing and able to drive / fly to all UK offices to deliver training. You will be delivering a mixture of certified courses (CITB, UKATA, Site Safety etc) and a portfolio of internal, bespoke courses including behavioural / mental health awareness courses. Reporting directly into the HSE Director, you will be given extensive autonomy and flexibility to ensure the continued success of the department. The ideal candidate for the HSE Training Manager vacancy will have a recognised training qualification (PTLLS, DTLLS, CTLLS etc) as well as a strong Health & Safety background involving a Diploma Level qualification, and Graduate / Chartered membership of IOSH. In addition, it is essential that you have a Construction background, whether that be a site based ‘boots on the ground' background, or experience of delivering training courses for a recognised Contractor. A basic salary of between £50-60k is on offer for the HSE Training Manager position, along with a company car or car allowance and fantastic corporate benefits package.
