Overview
Cloud Platform Engineer - AWS - CI/CD - Jenkins An opportunity has arisen for a Cloud Platform Engineer to join a global financial services client in the City of London. You will play a key role on a global programme to deliver a new technology platform and assist in building the product functionality as well as the tooling around achieving it. The successful candidate will have a detailed knowledge of working in an Agile environment using Agile tools and techniques, behaviour driven development (BDD), DevOps toolchains and cloud architectures. Skills and experience required: Experience delivering cloud-native solutions on a public cloud platform (preferably AWS ) Experience of core AWS services from architecture & design through to production (EC2, ECS, Lambda, VPC, CloudFront, API Gateway) Practical experience of API driven infrastructure automation using Terraform , CloudFormation or AWS CDK Developing lambdas on AWS using Python and/or TypeScript . Container technologies; Docker , Kubernetes , ECS or EKS. Building & delivering continuous delivery / deployment solutions using Jenkins/Concourse/AWS Code Pipeline Use of software design patterns and engineering best practice. Agile software experience.
