Service Manager - Learning Disabilities £30,000 - £35,000 p/a Cosham, Portsmouth Supported Living Service for adults with Learning Disabilities Introduction Compass Associates are proud to be working with a leading provider of support services ranging from Residential and Supported Living for adults with; Learning Disabilities, Autism and Severe Challenging Behaviour, with a remit to recruit for a new Service Manager to oversee a medium sized Supported Living Service located within the Cosham, Portsmouth area. Overview This is a complex service and the Service Manager will be responsible for overseeing and motivating a large staff team to deliver the highest quality of care to adults with a diagnosis of; Learning Disabilities, ASD and Challenging Behaviour. (Therefore, experience in this area is ESSENTIAL). The Service Manager will not be responsible for holding the CQC Registration, but will have the full lead of the provision and report directly to the Regional Manager. As the Service Manager you must have the capabilities and confidence to provide an extremely high level of care to these levels of adults. You will be tasked with translating the group strategy into local operations and developing relationships with stakeholder's and local authorities. Requirements Excellent knowledge of managing an adults Supported Living Service(s) Those from a Residential background will also be considered Ability to support, manage and develop staff through different strategies Excellent knowledge of CQC Self-motivated, driven and passionate individual Good links with the Local Authority Summary The Service Manager will play a crucial role in the day-day running of this complex provision. This Service Manager will work alongside the Senior Management Team and have hold full accountability for the leadership and performance of this specialist Supported Living Service that support those with; Learning Disabilities, ASD and Challenging Behaviour. As the Service Manager, you will be required to focus on providing/maintaining the highest of quality standards in line with CQC. Interview Process This will run over a 2-part process which will initially begin with an interview with Area Manager. The second stage will then take place with the Operations Director (Presentation will also be included).
