Principal Internal Auditor - FTSE listed - Regulated Industry FULL eligibility to work in the UK is essential. No visa sponsorships. Your new company This Principal Internal Auditor role is with a well known FTSE listed business in the West Midlands who have an excellent reputation for investing in their employees. This is a great time to join the Internal Audit team who are under new experienced leadership and have gone through an exciting restructure creating more progression opportunities. Due to an internal promotion, they are looking for someone to join them at Principal Internal Auditor or Senior Internal Auditor level, depending on experience. Your new role You will be responsible for delivering your own allocated audit reviews to set timescales. These audits will be mainly operational and will give you exposure to all areas of the business. You will meet with the business to discuss & agree the scope of the audit reviews, conduct the audit testing, produce high quality audit reports and agree actions with the business. You will also provide on-the-job coaching & mentoring to more junior members of the team. What you'll need to succeed You will hold a relevant qualification (ACA/ACCA/IIA) and be an experienced Internal Audit professional. Recent exposure to a regulated industry, particularly Financial Services, is highly advantageous. Candidates with a public sector background may also be considered. You must have strong written and verbal communication skills.
