Overview

We are currently recruiting for a well-known local broking group that has a deserved reputation for offering a first-class service. It has shown impressive organic growth over the last couple of years and is a great place to work for those who wish to progress their career. The company is now looking for a reasonably senior Commercial Account Handler who is used to dealing with a good cross section of commercial policies ( such as Commercial Combined, Contractors, Fleets, Motor Trade, D&O, PA/Travel etc) and able to handle a client with several policies due at the same time. This role will be based in their East Grinstead office. The firm specialises in providing bespoke insurance solutions to a diverse range of commercial and corporate customers and generates a great deal of referral business as a result of its professional approach. They offer a stable place for you to thrive with your career, and have a very low turnover of staff, so opportunities to join them come up very rarely You will be responsible for handling new and existing business across a range of commercial risks, providing first class technical support to a team of Account Executives and the Directors, as well as a first-class broking service to your clients. You will be a key technical referral point for the rest of the broking team, utilising your extensive commercial broking experience to assist others in technical matters. To be considered for this role, you will need a strong commercial broking background (a minimum of 4 years plus), and ideally have the Cert CII qualification as a minimum, with it being desirable to have either the Dip CII or ACII qualification. You will be highly professional with a confident demeanour, as well as being extremely driven and highly ambitious. You will be rewarded with a very competitive starting salary of £30-36k, dependant on experience. Office Hours are Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm.
