Commercial Account Handler

Commercial Account Handler East Grinstead, Salary up to £35,000 depending on experience. Barker Munro Recruitment is pleased to be working with a well-established and respected independent insurance broker who requires a Commercial Account Handler to join their commercial broking team. My client is looking for a candidate who has previous commercial account handling experience within a brokerage and has excellent knowledge of commercial classes of business including Commercial Combined and Contractors. The main responsibilities of the role will be: • Service existing clients in a professional, timely manner • Support the Account Executives with general account handling tasks • Retain business in line with retention targets • Assist with new business queries to help achieve new business targets • Cross sell appropriate cover to existing clients to develop existing book • To produce accurate documentation for clients. To be considered for this role, you will have a proven background in commercial account handling gained working in a brokerage and have an understanding of general classes of commercial lines.
