Overview
Summary: Do you have some experience in an analytical role having worked for either an energy broker/ consultancy? We are looking for a Pricing Analyst to be involved in the pricing and procurement of both fixed and flex contracts . From industry analysis to keeping track of rapidly expanding data sets, all elements of pricing need to be kept under constant review, and that that comes with the implementation of strict processes and an excellent understanding of the sector. The Pricing Analyst will work closely with customers and forge strong links with internal and external stakeholders. This is an exciting and pivotal role, so if you have good Excel, solid analytical skills and are an articulate communicator apply for the Pricing Analyst role - this is an amazing opportunity to get involved in retail energy. Key responsibilities: You’ll have exposure to the front-end of the business, working closely with the Account Management team and wider commercial departments to form a strong, compelling and lasting approach to pricing analysis. Undertake in-depth analysis that can be conveyed clearly to the wider procurement team and business. Historic analysis as well as planning for the future, Improving processes and developing procurement models Skills and experience required: At least 1-year experience in a commercial capacity in the energy industry. Familiar with energy supply contracts, arrangements and invoices . Excellent communication skills, able to persuade and negotiate. Highly analytical and numerate Good planning, highly organised and solid time management skills. Excellent software skills, particularly MS Excel and spreadsheet programs Experience working with databases and large data sets. Confidence and ability to prepare and present at company meetings.
