Overview
Senior Team Leader based at Callin Court, Chester. Available Hours: Permanent - Part Time - 28 hours per week. Pension, 28 days holiday (inc. bank holidays), Life Assurance, Discount Scheme, free uniform and DBS provided As a member of the Management Team you will take temporary complete charge during the absence of the Housing with Care Manager. To directly manage and supervise care and ancillary staff to enable them to maximise their potential through leadership, example, training and guidance. To form and maintain open and constructive relationships with all who have either an interest, or statutory duty, to ensure good practice and so enhance the quality of life for the residents. These will include residents, relatives/carers, staff (local, Regional and Head Office, volunteers, Chaplain together with statutory service professionals). To help maintain throughout the service the atmosphere and practice of care based on the Values of Methodist Homes deriving from a concern for the individual and mutual respect between residents and staff. Some fortunate residents of Callin Court in Chester get a grandstand view of the Chester Races without having to move from their apartments Others on the ground floor are content to have patio doors leading on to well maintained gardens and a courtyard. Here they might feel a sense of the history of the place, for back during the initial building stages of Callin Court a Roman arch was unearthed in the courtyard. Work had to be suspended to enable archaeologists to excavate the area. Located close to the centre of Chester, backing onto Chester Race Course.
