Overview
We are currently assisting a local manufacturing company with their current search for a Quality Technician. Permanent position Salary £21,000k to £24,600K p.a. 8am to 5pm Mon-Thurs and 8am to 2pm on Fri. Automotive experience and experience in the following (if possible); · Participate in drafting FMEA & Control Plans · Internal auditing of process and external supplier · Analysis of quality data & conducting evidence-based root cause investigations · Non-conformance product administrative management of customer and supplier concerns · Effective communication at all levels including customers & suppliers · ISO 9001 and 14001 experience · Ability to develop, monitor and audit quality management system · Key performance indicator reporting for the Quality department · Ability to gather, maintain and interpret data. Key Requirements: • Auditor qualified ISO9001 • Experience in writing and developing Quality manuals (training will be given) • Clean driving license (there will be occasional travel at company expense) • Passport Overall, the position needs a confident and forward-thinking candidate. Managing the supply base, internal stakeholders and management reports are part of the job. There is an expectation of travel in both the UK and abroad.
