We want to hear from you TODAY interviews are taking place immediately . A night in the life of a Support Worker As a Waking Support Worker you will be working throughout the night ensuring that the people we support are safe and comfortable. You will provide outstanding care and dignified support when required. This will include: Personal care – Assisting with helping to go to use bathroom, showering and getting ready for bed. Hourly checks - You will check in throughout the night, ensuring that the people you are caring for are safe. Administering medications - keeping records of administration. Household chores - Laundry, Ironing and preparing meals and activities for the following day. Excellent communication skills - an ability to be able to adapt your manner in how you speak to make the information understood by all of the people that you will be supporting. Shift patterns The general shift patterns are 22:00 - 7:00 Please note these shift patterns may differ slightly throughout the services, nevertheless this would always be communicated in a timely manner.
