Overview
A large Airport Services Provider is searching for experienced Bus Drivers to join their busy team working Landside at Gatwick Airport. These are permanent, full time roles, starting asap. Working an average of 42 hours per week, 12 hour 4 on, 4 off shifts, including very early starts and late finishes. Working in a demanding, fast paced environment, the role involves: . Driving large bendy and rigid buses landside, providing safe and efficient transportation of passengers and staff from various car parks to the airport terminal along set routes (and back again). Working to a set timetable. Using a radio to communicate with Bus Operations Supervisor. Dealing with passengers of all backgrounds and delivering superb customer service. Requirements PCV Licence and current CPC. Good previous experience of driving buses. Superb communication and customer service skills. Reliability and a positive, can-do attitude. Ability to work without close supervision. Happy to work a range of shifts, including lates and earlies. Additionally, as this position is based at an airport, candidates must have a checkable 5 year working history and a clean criminal record. In return this company offers: A salary of £11.00 per hour (plus overtime available at a higher rate). Full initial training plus opportunities to progress within this large organisation thereafter.
