Copart UK Limited employees over 1000 people split across 15 operational sites around the UK as well as supporting the Head Office team, based near Bedford. The Human Resources department includes pay & benefits, compliance - such as holiday pay, gender pay gap, modern slavery, etc. - and owns the formation of a comprehensive framework of policies & procedures. The effective recording and analysis of key metrics, for example recording of absence/leave, attrition, etc. As well as pension and share save scheme management, Health & Safety, First Aid/Fire policies, random employee drug & alcohol testing, internal communications and event management ranging from annual colleague fun days to leadership conferences, head office facilities supervision, employee induction, as well as a comprehensive scope for effective learning & development activities delivered in the most effective and cost-efficient way fall within the scope of the role. The Human Resources Administrator will be responsible for providing an effective and total administration service to support the Human Resources team whilst ensuring a high standard of customer service is applied to both internal and external customers. Main Duties & Responsibilities; Be the gatekeeper for managing all Recruitment Authorisation paperwork to ensure compliance to internal company standards. Play a key role in the recruitment process by advertising all vacancies via the external applicant tracking system. Be a pivotal point of contact for HR queries providing advice to line manager on range of HR Administration related queries. Ensure compliance by carrying out proof of right to work documentation checks in line with current legislation. Creating new starter paperwork, including offer letters, Employee Agreements, and all related forms. Be the main point of contact with our IT department to ensure the seamless onboarding and offboarding of employees. Responsibility for all general correspondence, including performance review letters, probationary letters, interview letters, reference requests etc. Management of company probationary process to ensure compliance to required audit levels. Maintaining employee folders, including creating new folders for new starters and keeping folders up to date. Administration of the employee leavers system, including exit interview forms and letters confirming receipt of resignation. Be instrumental in the administration of the Learning Development System & Uniform ordering system. Producing and maintaining Company Organisation charts. Proficient in Microsoft Office. Good organisation and planning skills with strong attention to detail. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Able to prioritise workload accordingly. Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times. Team player but also has the ability to work using own initiative and show resilience. Desired Skills Previous experience of working within a Human Resources department. CIPD qualified or working towards qualification. About Company Copart was founded in the USA in 1982.
