Overview
Bistro Assistant Our client based in a village on the outskirts of Bedford is looking for a Bistro Assistant to join their team on a temp to perm basis. In this position you will have Front of house duties along with supporting the kitchen as required. The position is 40 hours weekly Wednesday-Sunday 08.30-17.00 £18,414pa Preparing hot and cold beverages, snacks and plating cakes Maintain stock control Front of house set up and close down Adhere to all health and safety and COSHH regulations Maintain high standards of cleanliness, personal hygiene and appearance at all times All staff must always act in a way which will maintain a good reputation, upholding policies and procedures and striving to preserve good working relationships. The Ideal Candidate: Own transport due to location Available immediately Happy to work weekends Level 2 Food safety qualification GCSEs Maths and English 1 years' experience within a catering environment Knowledge of confidentiality and data protection along with awareness, understanding and compliance to equal opportunities Please note that at times due to the volume of applications we may not be able to respond to each person individually.
