Overview

Multiple Maintenance Assistants required in Oxford. Your new company We have multiple new positions for Maintenance Assistants to start in Oxford, working for a large public organisation on a temporary to permanent basis. Your new role As a maintenance assistant, you will be responsible for general repairs and routine planned maintenance. The role will be working both in a team and individually undertaking simple repairs within a building. You will be given work on a daily/ weekly basis with use of a PDA and you will attend the various sites to carry out maintenance requirements. A full UK Driving license is essential, as the role requires travelling to various locations. What you'll need to succeed The candidate needs to have maintenance experience and be confident in their ability to work independently and within a team. The candidate should have experience in a similar role and be able to turn their hand to a number of maintenance requirements, including painting and decorating, minor plumbing, carpentry and handyman roles. What you'll get in return In return, you will receive 35 days holiday, and a generous pension scheme. The client is offering long term work with a view to take the candidate on a permanent basis. The client can also offer training on any parts of the role that you feel you are not strong with.
