Overview
A national building service consultancy established over 35 years ago is now looking to add a Mechanical Design Engineer to their growing team. This M&E consultancy covers a wide range of projects including Commercial, retail, schools, hospitals and leisure centres both locally and nationally. Your day to day duties as Mechanical Design Engineer will include: • Carrying out occasional site visits to oversee Electrical Installations • Carrying out design calculations • Site surveys & Project reports • Attend site meetings and Technical meetings • Overseeing and supervising the installation of building systems and specifying maintenance and operating procedures • Detailed design of Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, Gas, Utilities, Compressed Air and Plant Layouts • To produce design schemes and sketches • Interpretation of design layout and tender documentation Requirements for a Mechanical Design Engineer: • You will previously have worked in a Building Services Consultancy or contractor as an Mechanical Design Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, Senior Mechanical Design Engineer • ONC/HNC/Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services Engineering What's in it for you? • 25 Days holiday • Private health care & Pension •£32,000 - £38,000 £250 referral incentive: If you know of anyone who you feel maybe suitable for this role we would welcome a personal or professional referral.
