Overview
A well-known company established over 50 years ago is now looking to take on a Mechanical Design Engineer to join their experienced and talented team who will be responsible for design for their commercial projects of up to the value of £30m. This M&E Consultancy cover's a variety of sectors which includes but is not limited to: Commercial, Industrial, Retail and Leisure, schools and healthcare. Your day to day duties as Mechanical Design Engineer will include: • Carrying out occasional site visits to oversee Electrical Installations • Carrying out design calculations - both manually and computer techniques • Site surveys & Project reports • Attend site meetings and Technical meetings • Advising clients and architects on energy use and conservation in a range of buildings and sites, aiming to minimise the environmental impact and reduce the carbon footprint • Overseeing and supervising the installation of building systems and specifying maintenance and operating procedures Requirements for a Mechanical Design Engineer: • You will previously have worked in a Building Services Consultancy or contractor as an Mechanical Design Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, Senior Mechanical Design Engineer • ONC/HNC/Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services Engineering What's in it for you? • 25 Days holiday • Private health care & Pension •£35,000 - £45,000 • Initial and on-going training £250 referral incentive: If you know of anyone who you feel maybe suitable for this role we would welcome a personal or professional referral.
