Overview
Robert Half are pleased to be working with an FMCG business based in Bradford to recruit for an interim Management Accountant to support them through an exceptionally busy period. This opportunity would suit someone who has experience of working within a fast paced manufacturing environment. Role: Preparation and checking integrity of all reporting, both internal & external Ensuring strong financial controls and systems are managed and pro-actively ensure the controls are maintained Preparation of budgets and forecasts Completion of monthly trading accounts Reconciliation of variances weekly and monthly highlighting any opportunities and risks Debt management ensuring issues are resolved in a timely manner and payments are received as expected on time Cash flow management and forecasting Weekly sales reporting with variance analysis Complete costings ensuring all relevant data is entered into Sage, production schedules & costing schedule Assist in stock checks including reconciliations Month end journal preparation and postings carried out within the month end close period Compile, prepare and submit quarterly VAT returns Investigate nominal for any assets and disposals and complete fixed asset reconciliation monthly The successful candidate will be either be a qualified or qualified by experience Accountant. Experience of working within manufacturing is a must. A day rate of £200 - £250 a day is on offer.
