Overview
Based in north Cardiff, our client is looking for a Management Accountant for a 9 month fixed-term contract. The client provides the latest business data that companies and lenders can use to make informed credit decisions, worldwide. This is an excellent opportunity, supporting the Finance Manager and the client is willing to consider studying part-qualified accountants. Job Description Preparation of weekly Cash Flow Undertaking monthly Balance Sheet Reconciliations including corrections as required Processing of supplier payment runs and payment of customer refunds Preparation and posting of monthly Accruals and Prepayments Post intercompany revenue and prepare intercompany invoices Preparation of Management Accounts for review Production of monthly regional and departmental P&Ls Monthly Sales Reconciliation Analysis of credit notes Posting of all Fixed Asset Additions and run and post depreciation Calculation of payment of digital VAT returns Undertaking bank reconciliations Adhoc financial analysis Reporting of monthly figures to the national statistics office Aiding in year-end procedures and audit Person Specification Ability to work well under pressure High attention to detail Good team player Ability to adapt skills to different situations Excellent communication skills If you are interested in finding out more, or to apply for the role, please send an updated copy of your CV to us as soon as possible.
