A popular hotel situated in Nottingham is seeking to appoint a Sous Chef to the kitchen Role: The Head Chef of a hotel that is frequented by both corporate and leisure guests is seeking a Sous Chef who can work closely with them but also deputise for them in their absence ensuring the kitchen continues to run to the same high standards.In this role of Sous Chef you will be preparing fresh food for the bar, restaurant and conference/ function rooms with the expectation that you can bring strengths to all sections in the kitchen.As this is a senior role in the kitchen you will also be expected to assist with the training of the junior chefs and the kitchen admin. Requirements: A Junior Sous Chef or strong Chef de Partie who is ready to take the next step in their career would be ideal for this role as long as you have plenty of previous hotel kitchen experience including banqueting.The ability to lead, organise and supervise others in the kitchen is essential for this role.
