MALE SUPPORT WORKERS - NIGHTS POOLE, DORSET £10.20 PER HOUR 36 OR 42 HOUR PERMANENT CONTRACTS 8PM TO 8AM SHIFTS Opportunity to join a fast expanding care organisation, committed to supported people with Learning Disabilities, Autism Spectrum Disorder and Complex Care. Our client currently wishes to recruit Nights Male Support Worker or Male Care Assistants, to provide care and support to a young man living in Poole, who has Autism and has been deaf since birth. You must have Care Assistant or Support Worker experience. Our service user is very sociable and engaging young person who likes to carry out handyman type duties around the home and outdoor activities such as building or painting and needs team members to support him to stay safe during these activities. He enjoys playing practical jokes and needs team members with a good sense of humour. We are seeking Night Male Support Workers or Night Male Care Assistants who are confident to be able to reassure our service user when he is feeling anxious or is struggling to process the environment around him. You will also need to be patient, good listener, good motivator and be able to encourage the gentleman to go into the community, whilst making sure he and others are safe.
