Senior Pricing Analyst - Motor Insurance Do you have over 2 years' experience in Insurance Pricing and some Machine Learning knowledge? Are you interested in joining a fast-paced, successful Insurtech where price is entirely modelled using Data Science techniques? If so we would love to hear from you - our client, a London based, digital Motor Insurer/ Insurtech are looking to expand their Pricing team. We are looking for someone who has technical insurance price modelling (risk or retail pricing both considered) experience, as well as some relevant Data Science/ Machine Learning knowledge. This may have been gained from self-study, education or commercial application. This is a great opportunity to join a successful start-up now trading very well and looking to expand their footprint, so lots of interesting project work and new products. It will suit someone with excellent communication and senior stakeholder management skills as the role is highly visible to board level. It will also suit someone who enjoys a lot of autonomy and trust to deliver, as this is central to their culture. Required experience: A minimum of 2 years Technical/ Risk or Retail Pricing experience within Personal Lines or light Commercial Lines/ SME (e.g. GLM's, Claims Cost, Frequency & Severity, Propensity Modelling, Conversion and Demand Modelling, LTV Models, Optimisation etc.) At least some basic coding skills in Python or R Beneficial experience; Experience of Predictive Modelling using Machine Learning techniques (e.g. GBM's, Random Forest, Neural Networks etc.) Please send your CV or contact Alex Williams at Gerrard White Consulting for more details
