Electrical Engineer with Water Asset Infrastructure experience- Permanent HAYS Construction and Engineering are proud to be working closely with a diverse organisations with interests in Construction, Building Services and Energy sectors. Your new role The successful candidate will work autonomously on their Water Assets, primarily involved in the changes to infrastructure when legislation requires or in the event of an Asset replacement. There will also be an opportunity to undertake a variety of diverse projects through to completion. Key Duties: Capability statements and the submission of pre-qualification questionnaires, expressions of interest and tenders; Managing stakeholder relationships internally and externally, including new clients and maintaining existing clients relationships Working closely with Project Manager, you will be accountable for clarity of project briefs. setting and re-setting deliverables, project key milestones and methodology, quality assurance and control strategy Involved in changes to designs, communicating detailed changes to the PM Working with commitment to full compliance, documenting on the organisation Integrated Management Systems (IMS) Full awareness and compliance to the organisations HSE policies and procedures Provide technical guidance, support, in addition to training and development of colleagues, where appropriate Actively. recommend and implement improvements to technical policy, processes and design solutions You'll need to succeed A good level of commercial understanding of projects, including costs and financial management Strong technical capabilities including design assessment and adjustment on projects Excellent interpersonal skills, including client engagement, development and relationship management Able to present and communicate project related information to internal and external stakeholders Specific technical skills in the design / analysis of water/wastewater infrastructure or non-infrastructure projects; Familiarity with relevant software packages such as MS Project, Word, Excel, AutoCAD etc. Recognised academic qualifications, Degree, HND, HNC, etc. Ideally you will be working towards a recognised professional qualification and membership of appropriate professional bodies, however this is not essential You must be capable of undertaking significant elements of the detailed design; including competence in calculations, drawings, sketches, reports What you need to do now If you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.
