Lead QA Engineer (Contract) A brilliant new exclusive opportunity has been signed off today in Sheffield for a Lead QA Engineer for a really exciting Digital Health company that's currently on a super charged journey of growth in the UK. Since 2007, the company has been providing their innovative health screening services to the NHS and private clients which help engage patients, streamline delivery, reduce turnaround times and cut costs. In your role as a Lead QA Engineer, you will champion good engineering and testing practices to enable the development team to deliver high quality, production ready solutions.? As the first QA hire, you will be 100% hands on, will be instrumental in introducing the testing practices within the team as well as growing the software testing capability. ROLE: Lead QA Engineer LOCATION: Sheffield RATE: £350 to £400 per day (Outside IR35) START: ASAP (within 1 to 2 weeks max) TERM: 3 months minimum Working closely with the Software Engineering Leader & the CTO, we are looking to recruit an experienced Lead QA Engineer, a key hire as the company looks to transform the technology stack & environment. The new tech team is at early stages of building the company's next generation platform (.net core, microservices), migrate the old legacy codebase to this new platform, whilst also continuing to focus on delivering and enhancing the customer experience (B2C & B2B). You will also be expected to contribute to the delivery of a cloud-first / microservices vision, helping to drive & build an agile / DevOps delivery environment and foster a culture of continuous integration and improvement. PERSON First and foremost, we are looking for a passionate and experienced QA Engineer. We are looking for the Following: - Automated testing experience in BDD using Cucumber and justifying the inclusion / exclusion from scope - Designing, building and automation frameworks - Continuous Integration using Jenkins or Hudson - Solid manual testing experience - It would be great if you also have knowledge of C#, GitHub, XML, HTML, Javascript or CSS If you are interested to learn more, please do not hesitate to get in touch ASAP
