It’s not cool, it doesn’t work and only makes patients dependant on passive interventions. However a decent manual therapy is the cornerstone of modern Physiotherapy, and our manual Physio’s give our patients the ability to move better to allow their rehab to start at a much higher functional level. We’re looking for decent, confident, hands on manual therapists who really want to develop and extend their manual skills. You will manage a full and busy case load, be able to treat, advise and support patients through their physio journey. We coach, coerce and challenge modern day thinking to allow you to develop a strong and solid clinical reasoning process. Minimal Requirements • Must have appropriate physiotherapy bachelor’s degree • Must hold current registration with Health Professions Council or equivalent if oversees applicant • Must have a minimum of 3 years post graduate experience of which at least 2 years should be within the private setting • Must demonstrate appropriate post graduate education Additional Requirements • Must demonstrate excellent clinic reasoning skills leading to appropriate treatment planning • Must be able to demonstrate appropriate manual/manipulation skills for Spinal/musculoskeletal/sports injury conditions • Be up to date with current evidence based conditions • Demonstrate excellent communication skills, with patients, peers, and other member of the team, eg. Consultants, podiatrists • Be happy to work independently and managed own case load of patients • Must be committed to CPD • Must be motivated and committed with belief in what they do • Must have an outgoing personality and happy to work within a team We’d love you to have 2 year post grad, a desire to challenge and be challenged and be prepared to work hard and play hard.
