Overview

My client - a market leading property management company are looking for an Estates manager. The site based role will involve building a great place brand by delivering high standards of management, maintenance and customer services, whilst running a tightly controlled budget and implementing statutory compliance across all disciplines. This multifaceted role in the East of London will involve you being the first point of contact for tenant enquiries across the estate, and setting up new processes and procedures across various disciplines. You will also be responsible for the coordination of the day to day operational aspects of building management including the management of contractors and organising unscheduled maintenance and other works. Essential duties Promoting a high level of satisfaction among occupiers by promptly responding to their service requirements. Develop comprehensive and efficient processes and procedures. Implement streamlined electronic health and safety compliance system. Ensure a robust document control & filing processes is in place. Ensure compliance to standards, policies and procedures. Maintain high standards of building and estate management and cleanliness developing specifications, tendering contracts and procuring contracts Maintain an accurate record of contracts, value, termination dates and other details applicable to the Estate including but not limited to compliance documentation. Coordinate communication with contractors regarding repairs/services and report as necessary to occupiers. Control contractors working on site and oversee the management of the Permit to Work System to deliver statutory compliance. Place works orders, validate and code invoices and non-compliant invoices are referred back to the contractor. Organise occupier liaison meetings and prepare minutes for circulation where appropriate. Overseeing the running of annual events in the common areas for the Estate occupiers. Identifies cost saving and performance enhancing opportunities. Key skills Experience in setting up processes and procedures. H&S experience. IOSH qualification. IT skills including Word, Outlook and Excel. Ability to quickly assimilate information. Good customer relationship skills
