Audit and Accounts Senior

Our client is a firm of Chartered Accountants who seek to appoint an ambitious, motivated Audit and Accounts Senior / Junior Manager to join their Surrey office. Ideally you will be either ACA/ACCA qualified and have a good general practice background looking to work with a recognised firm. You will be working with Owner Managed Businesses across a wide range of industries who are based mainly in the Surrey area with also a few in London. This is a role which will include around 70 - 80 % Audit work (without extensive travelling though) with the remainder general accounts work. The role will encompass the following: managing the audit process managing junior members of staff preparation of statutory accounts and controlling budgets Personal Specification: The role requires an ability to work alone and be part of a team The ability to communicate effectively with clients and staff at all levels is essential You will ideally have experience of supervising junior staff The Partners will consider candidates who currently work in a small independent firm who may only have a small amount of Audit experience and wish to develop this area or candidates coming from a larger firm who would like more autonomy and work in a "mixed" role. The salary guideline set by Fletcher George for this role is £40,000 - £50,000 depending on supervisory experience.
