Audit & Accounts Manager

This independent firm cover all aspects of accountancy including accounts, audit, tax, payroll and bookkeeping with clients in the OMB space across many industries. Due to continuing growth they are looking for a full time Qualified ACA or ACCA Accountant. Looking after your own portfolio you will regularly be the clients first port of call for professional advice and you will enjoy extensive client liaison, often at their site. The role is great for either those looking to move away from a larger accounting firm to a varied role with plenty of autonomy. Equally the role allows for those working at a smaller Practice to grow and develop their skills and commercial awareness within a quality client portfolio. Key duties include: Work succinctly across a range of clients Preparing accounts for clients, including preparation of corporation tax returns and personal tax returns where appropriate Bookkeeping for clients, including the use of cloud-based software such as Xero and Kashflow. Preparing management accounts and other reporting documents required by owner-managed businesses to assist with their day-to-day running of the company. Personal and corporation tax planning, to the level expected of a qualified accountant. Any other ad hoc business advisory services when necessary Work closely with other members of the team to develop your skills further Qualified ACA or ACCA with experience of working in Practice, you will understand the needs of a General Practice accountancy firm and have the ability to deal with multiple deadlines and targets across a range of businesses. Due to the need to travel to client sites you must have a full UK license. The salary range of £50,000 - £55,000 has been set by Fletcher George as a guide.
