Your experience of model based systems engineering and understanding of the System Engineering Process (including System Specification, System Test and Integration) will help you work in a small, highly regarded and well established team involved in the systems design, integration, testing and qualification of cutting-edge radio-frequency sub-systems for a range of land, sea and air platforms. At the bottom of the page is where you can apply. About the job: Our client currently requires the services of a Systems Engineer - Deep Strike Mission Planning. The role will include; Working across a range of programmes at various stages of maturity System architecture development and documentation Requirements and interface definition and management Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) Support and troubleshooting of integration issues Actively participate in trials, verification and product certification Interfacing with a range of stakeholders: software development team, hardware design, systems design team and trials engineers Support research and development into Platform Data Link Terminal product line About you: As a Systems Engineer - Platform Data Link Terminal, your skills and qualifications will ideally include: A team player with positive collaborative behaviours Excellent 'can do' attitude and pro-active behaviours You will be able to demonstrate your understanding of System Engineering Process (including System Specification, System Test and Integration) You will be able to demonstrate your knowledge and exposure to Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) using SysML, preferably using Rhapsody You will be able to demonstrate your experience in tools for Requirements Capture and Control (DOORS) and Configuration Management (Dimensions or RTC) You will have exposure and knowledge of engineering product delivery You will be able to demonstrate your broader RF knowledge and appreciation ideally with a bias towards communication technologies not essential Systems Engineer - Platform Data Link Terminal Bristol Up to £30,000 - £48,000 Permanent Keywords: Systems Engineer, Platform Data Link Terminal, Missile, Design, Integration, Aerospace, Requirements, DOORS, Project Management, Systems Design, Military, Sub-System Specification, System Test, SysML, MBSE, Model based systems engineering, Rhapsody.
