Role: Hydrologist / Flood Modeller - Intermediate, Senior or Principal Level Location: Birmingham Salary: £25,000-40,000 benefits Employment: Full time permanent My Client is a market leading consultancy who are looking to expand their Water team from their Birmingham office and have a vacancy for a Hydrologist / Flood Modeller at an intermediate, senior or principal level. Typically you will be attached to public sector with a focus on flooding and drainage projects where you will be delivering any of the below based on your skill and experience: Flood Mapping Flood alleviation design schemes River or Drainage Modelling Feasibility options Surface water Run off Sustainable drainage design River modelling Hydraulic and Hydrological Modelling Flood Mitigation Studies Water resource management Environmental assessment It would be highly advantageous to have experience of any of these softwares: Tuflow ISIS Infoworks ICM Hec Ras ArcGIS Mapinfo Micro Drainage This role would suit any engineers who have flooding, drainage or hydrology sector experience from a placement to significant industry experience. Engineers who are working towards chartership will be mentored and assisted, where as chartered engineers will have their professional memberships payments made as part of their package.
