Procurement Analyst

Macildowie is delighted to be working with a well-established organisation to recruit an experienced Procurement Analyst, to join their growing Procurement team based in Warwick. Reporting directly to the Head of Procurement, you will be tasked with: Assisting the procurement of core & non-core products within Goods not for Resale and services to meet the business needs Assisting internal stakeholders to understand requirements and actively seek opportunities to share best practice within the wider business. Monitor and analyse trends in business spending and control by reviewing purchasing data and invoices Responsible for Spend Management Responsible for systems updating, including suppliers, pricing Develop and deliver purchasing and inventory reports, bid proposals and tender requirements documentation Assist in obtaining supplier references, credit checks and new supplier paperwork while on-boarding new suppliers Help prepare purchasing and inventory reports, bid proposals and tender requirements documentation. Researching Market for sources of supply To be considered for this exciting role you must be able to display the following skills and attributes: Previous experience in Procurement is essential Ability to communicate effectively with wide range of audience and present data in an understandable way Ability to influence senior stakeholders Able to provide cross functional working Strong customer focus and a commitment to quality and service. Strong analytical and IT skills Ability to implement projects and change management Proven ability to support to a procurement team Coordinating tendering projects Good commercial awareness and understanding of Value for Money Ability to identify and implement savings CIPS would be highly desirable Educated to Degree level or equivalent preferred Highly organised This is highly visible and important role within this Procurement function, and as such will attract a competitive salary and benefits package.
