Warehouse Operative

No experience is needed to earn up to £12.50 per hour as a Warehouse Operative at a busy distribution centre for a leading UK supermarket. Staffline is recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to work in Basingstoke. The rate of pay is from £9.50 up to £12.50 per hour. This is a full-time role and you will work rotating shifts. The hours of work are: 1pm to 9pm - Ambient department 2pm to 10pm - Chilled department 9pm to 6am - Ambient department 7pm to 4am - Product department Your time at work As a Warehouse Operative at this site you will use mechanical handling equipment to transport products to the assembly areas. Your duties will include: Lifting and moving products weighing up to 15kg Picking products accurately, based on an internal system Ensuring that there is a constant supply of assets such as roll cages, totes and pallet boards, to the necessary departments Checking the quantity and quality of goods Ensuring that warehouse goals are achieved Other general warehouse duties as required Our perfect worker Our ideal Warehouse Operative works using their own initiative and communicates well with others. You should have basic numeracy, literacy and computer skills. Knowledge of warehouse operations and Health & Safety would be beneficial in this role. No previous experience is necessary as full training is provided.
