Overview
Our client is a successful renewable energy company processing over 25000 tonnes of food waste per annum and Staffbase have been appointed to recruit for the position of Plant Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day to running of our client's Anaerobic Digestion Plant near Scunthorpe. The Role: Reporting to the Operations Director you will be responsible for the day to day management and control of a modern anaerobic digestion plant. Assuming a 'hands-on' approach your duties will include but is not limited to the following; Management & control of all staff and contractors Ensure all aspects of HSE compliance Maintain PAS110 compliance / certification Maintain accurate records, reporting and documentation Manage, control and assist with plant maintenance activities Manage all aspects of 'feeding' and ensure plant operates at optimum levels Candidate: The ideal candidate will have previous experience in anaerobic digestion plant operations, maintenance and you will have supervisory or management experience. You will have excellent technical understanding of all associated plant including CHP plant and machinery. Hours of Work: Mon -Friday 7am to 4pm (Negotiable) Benefits: Competitive basic salary £40K-£43K Company Vehicle 28 days annual leave Pension
