Quality Clinic Engineer - Fareham Permanent role Target salary £30-£35k A high calibre Quality Clinic Engineer is required to work for a fantastic local Engineering company in the Fareham area, as part of an already established team. The Role Reporting directly into the Quality Manager the Quality Clinic Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the successful running and development of the quality clinic. They will be responsible for the dispositioning of products, the communication of product issues to production and inspection areas, and the development and growth of the Clinic process. - Manage all product put through the Quality Clinic - From receipt to disposition. - Liaise with the quality department and assist with the development of product quality - Work to achieve the highest standard of quality - Ensure Quality Clinic metrics are up-to-date and accurate - Liaise with key departments in the organisation to facilitate disposition decisions and develop product/process improvements. - Provide feedback from issues seen at the clinic back to the relevant parts/teams/personnel within the organisation. - Develop feedback loop to inspection teams to ensure adequate product containment actions are in place to protect the business and our customers. - Report the inspection accept / reject information directly to either the Quality Manager and/or Deputy; - Attending and reporting in Quality / Production meetings - Check of stock for containment of identified quality issues and Identify of non-conforming material. - Introduce visual indicators within the Quality Clinic to help manage the flow of product and the feedback of information to the relevant areas - Other duties as assigned. You The preferred candidate will have a proven background in Quality Inspection or an entry level Quality Engineering role, with a good technical knowledge of mechanical or electronic components. You will have excellent communication skills, with the ability to adapt quickly to an existing, complex, and fast paced environment. Able to put academic knowledge into practice within a manufacturing and engineering environment, and develop metrics and indicators to manage personal performance. Qualifications Good level of education - GCSE's Engineering Qualification, Apprenticeship or NVQ would be desirable Basic report writing skills Basic PC skills, Word, Office Company Our client are a local employer who offer a real opportunity to be part of a dynamic and growing manufacturing engineering organisation.
