Havant - Temp to Perm - £9.32 per hour Full Time 37.5 hours - Monday to Friday 08:00 to 16:00 or 10:00 to 18:00 Are you looking for a new and exciting career working within a busy Production facility? If YES then this could be your perfect job opportunity Our client is looking for a Warehouse Logistics Clerk with FLT to work in Havant. The successful candidate will have current experience of working within a manufacturing environment. To ensure that customers receive the correct products quickly and with zero damage and errors To identify and use the appropriate carriage methods To be actively involved in the improvement of the cell team and team processes through the application of principles. Responsibilities include: Able to identify product parts, match against internal and external customer orders To pack products safely and efficiently against order, ensuring cost effective packing methods and box sizes ensuring ensure On Time Delivery is maintained at all times Able to identify, rotate and replenish stock levels To be responsible for the quality and quantity of their own work To comply with all environmental, health and safety policies and procedures (safety glasses / shoes / PPE / work wear etc.) reporting any relevant issues to line supervision including supervising drivers whilst on site To train all existing, new or transferred employees (temporary and permanent labour), within the scope of a Logistics Clerk M/F role, where the individual is a recognised Trainer To cover any activities as required by the Team Leader / Line Manager irrespective of current job role and product group, particularly within the Goods Inwards area by receiving and locating goods into EILP using MFG/PRO and Barcode technology To utilise principles and work practices to identify opportunities for improvement with the objective of achieving personal, departmental and plant goals To perform housekeeping, 5S and TPM activities as appropriate Customer satisfaction requirements: Builds and reinforces our reputation with internal & external customers of our world-class manufacturing facility To ensure that the customer is provided with products at the right quality standard and on time To reconcile product, product documentation and to pack and dispatch products to meet customer needs To perform and maintain all dispatch tasks according to Area and Customer specifications To perform all quality assurance functions, SOP requirements, process controls and inspection frequencies to assure dispatch quality Ensuring that all shortages, incorrect documentation, defective material and parts are reported to line supervision To maintain process control and all relevant documentation The successful candidate will have/ be able to: Demonstrate a proficiency in inventory, identifying product parts, packing, labeling and dispatching to customer order requirements, utilising work-based PC programmes Demonstrate competency in fulfilling customer order requirements and the deadlines involved in supplying customers on time and with the right parts Ability to identify faults in product, documentation and equipment and report to Line Supervision Capable of training others where the individual is a recognised Trainer Demonstrates flexibility within the work area, irrespective of job role Demonstrate involvement in and contribution to Lean activities including the use of Kan ban, generating ideas for improvement in work areas, identifying and carrying out 5S activities and taking ownership of housekeeping within the work area Demonstrates proficiency in the use of a variety of Fork Lift Truck and handling equipment If you have the relevant skills and current experience, seeking a position with an immediate start then please submit your CV for review.
