Overview
Our client is a market-leading family-owned business which has undergone huge growth over the last few years and is currently undertaking a restructure of its finance organisation. They require a financial controller who can deliver the year end and is used to dealing with change and uncertainty and managing and guiding large teams through the same. The role is being recruited on an interim basis due to the nature of the change but there is also the possibility of a permanent opportunity within the organisation for the right individual. Your duties/responsibilities include: - Ownership and delivery of the monthly reporting and consolidation - Delivery of the year end - Coordinating and delivery of the audit process - Management of the large transactional finance team (AP, AR and Payroll) - Streamlining accounting functions and operations The ideal candidate will be/have: - Strong experience in leading financial controllership functions, ideally in listed businesses - Strong technical skillset, including delivery of complex consolidations and reporting - Experience of leading large multi-functional teams including reporting, general ledger, AP, AR and payroll - Ability to provide leadership and guidance in ever-changing environments - Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) The role is based in West London and requires an urgent start with availability of no more than one week. Initially the role will last for 3-6 months but with the possibility of a permanent position for the right individual. The engagement will be on a fixed term contract basis between £80-100,000/annum depending on experience.
